Job Description:
The Pre-Assessment Nurse plays a pivotal role in the provision of exceptional patient care within our clinic. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
You will work closely with Consultants to run minor operation/injection rooms and rotate to the wound care clinic and phlebotomy department as required. Your key duties will include undertaking assessments of care needs, developing and implementing programmes of care, acting on behalf of patients to ensure their views are respected, assisting Consultants with side room procedures, and working collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A registered nurse eligible to register with An Bord Altranais on the General Division
* Experience managing patient care using evidence-based practice
* Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and proven written/verbal communication abilities
* The ability to work on own initiative/prioritise/manage multiple issues simultaneously/demonstrate attention to detail is essential
