The post of CNM 2 has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area.
The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication, and providing professional/clinical leadership.
The CNM2 role is responsible for the management, care, and treatment of service users to ensure that the highest standard of care is provided within the designated area(s) of responsibility.
Post Specific Requirements
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in Acute Medical Nursing relevant to the role.
* Demonstrate experience in Nursing Management relevant to the role.
* Show leadership ability and skills to initiate and implement quality improvement projects that enhance patient experience at Wexford General Hospital.
