**Job Overview**
The role of Shift Technician is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the utility plant. The individual in this position will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the plant, working closely with the Shift Lead to maintain a smooth and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plant Operation: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the utility plant, maintaining open communication with the Shift Lead regarding any deviations or issues.
* PPM Schedules: Oversee the completion of routine PPM schedules as assigned by the Shift Lead or Site Leader, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
* Monitoring and Correction: Continuously monitor the utilities, identifying and correcting any deviations (Plant, BMS, Housekeeping) and raising corrective actions and planned work orders as necessary.
* Maintenance Activities: Execute non-intrusive maintenance activities and first-line maintenance, minimizing downtime and ensuring the continued operation of the plant.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in shift operations, preferably in a utility plant setting.
* Skillset: Strong understanding of plant operations, safety procedures, and quality control measures.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact with colleagues and superiors.
