Accounts Assistant
Part-time role (3 days per week)
Based in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath
DataTrust Managed IT & Cyber Security Services is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team. This is a part‑time role (3 days per week), based in the DataTrust office in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath. The successful candidate will be an outgoing, personable individual who thrives in a busy office environment and has experience managing company costs and profitability. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, able to help identify improvements and implement efficiencies in areas they are responsible for and have a proven ability to manage their workload and meet deadlines without supervision. The successful candidate must have excellent IT and computer (including accounting software) skills and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the sales invoicing process and prepare individual & recurring invoices for issue
* Accounts receivable: Credit control and solving queries
* Accounts payable: Payments and creditor reconciliations
* Complete monthly bank reconciliations. Assist in VAT Returns & reconciliations
* Assist with monthly cost reviews and identifying opportunities for savings
* Prepare KPI reports
Requirements:
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and experience using Xero accounting software (Autotask experience also an advantage)
* Proven ability to work as part of a team in an office environment and to work on their own initiative
* Have a proven track record in organisational ability. Excellent attention to detail. Proactive approach with can‑do attitude and works well within a team environment. Excellent communicator with a professional demeanour.
* A minimum of 3 years office accounts experience (preferably in professional services)
