What We Need From You The Assistant Director of Nursing Duties: The Assistant Director of Nursing will support the Director of Nursing/PIC in the clinical and professional leadership of the care teams and to deliver direct resident care.
Monitor and supervise the delivery of care to residents.
Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care through respecting the privacy, dignity, and rights of the resident.
The Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements: Nursing Qualification and Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)3 years post-registration experience of nursing older people.
3 years experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area.
Demonstrate sound knowledge and clinical nursing practice together with future trends in elder care and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Hold a post registration management qualification in health or a related field, Higher Diploma in Gerontology is desirable.
