Associate Mechanical Engineer – Graduate Opportunity in Medical Device Industry

Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development, optimisation of precision mechanical components for electromechanical medical devices.
* Support prototype testing and validation in line with international standards.
* Work closely with senior engineers across R&D, manufacturing, and quality functions to deliver high-quality product solutions.
* Perform root cause analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement tasks within the product development process.
* Generate clear technical documentation in support of product design and regulatory compliance.
* Participate in cross-functional meetings and design reviews, contributing fresh ideas and detailed technical insights.
* Conduct mechanical testing, analysis, and data interpretation using relevant engineering tools and software.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of the Design History File (DHF) and associated risk management activities.
Key Requirements:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline, graduated within the last 12 months.
* Proven academic excellence — consistently ranked in the top 10–15% of your year group.
* A strong grasp of mechanical design principles, materials science, and CAD software.
* Demonstrated problem-solving ability and experience with analytical tools.
