Sessional Counsellor/Therapist Required
We are seeking experienced and skilled counsellors/therapists to join our team for sessional work in Dublin North East, Dublin North and Louth/Meath.
Location Details:
* Louth/Meath: Drogheda, Dundalk, Navan
* Dublin North: City Centre - Ormond Quay, Corduff, Dublin 15, Phibsboro, Dublin 7, Swords, Co. Dublin, Navan Rd, Dublin 7
About CIPC:
Counselling in Primary Care (CIPC) is a service provided by the HSE National Counselling Service. It offers short-term counselling in primary care settings to medical card holders aged 18 years and over.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. A recognised Level 7 qualification (QQI) in a relevant human science discipline or equivalent in a health and social care profession or health-related profession.
2. Plus either:
• Hold a degree or post-graduate qualification in counselling, or psychotherapy recognised by one of the following, as appropriate:
• The Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP)
• A relevant body within the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP)
• The Irish Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (IABCP)
3. Full accredited membership with one of the following:
• IACP
• IABCP
• A relevant body within ICP
4. Hold a post-graduate qualification in counselling psychology or clinical psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
5. Have commenced the registration process with the PSI or be fully registered with the clinical or counselling psychology division of PSI
6. Minimum of two years relevant post-qualification experience (This requirement may not apply in respect of some full-time post-graduate qualifications)
