Due to continued growth, new contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, one of Irelands top Civil & Marine Engineering Contractors are hiring a Site Ecologist.
This role will be based on a large project in Glanmire,.
The successful candidate has the option of being a full-time employee or sub-contractor for this role.
Role: As Ecologist, you will join a busy team where you will get excellent experience working on an interesting and challenging project.
You will be responsible for coordinating Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and statutory consent applications.
The Ecologist should have experience in leading, coordinating and contributing to EIA projects for major infrastructure projects including all stages of EIA.
This role offers experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
Requirements: Level 8 Degree in an Environmental related discipline Ideally be Chartered or working towards Chartership with Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) Ecologist with minimum 3+ years experience in an ecology role Experience in one or more technical area of relevance to EIA e.g., aquatic ecology, terrestrial ecology, ornithology Strong report writing skills.
