Health and Safety Manager Position
This is a senior-level role for a Health and Safety Manager working on a large Data Centre project in Amsterdam. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety management systems, laws, and project execution plans.
* Ensure the organization's safety policies are up to date and relevant to current legislation.
* Manage task-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments, permits, and safety interventions.
* Maintain good safety practices through regular site audits, COSH assessments, and hazardous substance control.
* Oversee staff induction, training, and ensure subcontractors adhere to EHS policies.
* Manage project PPE, welfare, and hygiene facilities, ensuring they meet requirements.
* Assist with accident investigations and keep the Safety File documentation up to date.
Requirements:
* 6+ years experience in a similar role as a Health and Safety Manager.
* A relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Team player able to build and maintain relationships both internally and with external clients.
* Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
* IT Skills Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
