The Role
This is an entry level role located in our Head Office in Dublin.
A Graduate Workshop Engineer will be working with the team on calibration, repair and maintenance of a full product portfolio including various types of temperature and weighing equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Calibration and testing of temperature, humidity, mass (weights), volume (pipettes) equipment
Repair and Overhaul of Vacuum Pumps
Assess and repair wide range of laboratory equipment
Logging and processing of customer equipment and service calls
Liaise with service coordinators and service Team Managers
Management of the Return to Vendor process for customer asset repairs
Ensure equipment is returned post-repair in a time efficient and costly manner
Ensure good housekeeping of the workshop and contribute to the development of a strong team environment within the workshop
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required
Qualification in an Engineering or Electrical Field
Experience an advantage but not essential
Ability to problem solve and provide innovative solutions
Computer literate with MS Office skills
Attention to detail with the ability to work in a busy fast paced environment
