Chief Engineering Leader
About Your New Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to provide technical leadership in systems integration, controls, and mechanical engineering. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects that meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide cross-site technical leadership in systems integration, controls, and mechanical engineering
* Act as the technical authority across design, build, and commissioning phases
* Mentor and develop engineering staff, driving technical excellence and succession planning
* Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Site Directors to ensure projects are delivered right-first-time, on time, and to the highest standards
* Oversee risk management, debug complex escalations, and champion the adoption of advanced tools like digital twin simulations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering
* 15+ years' experience in automation or machine building, ideally in life sciences/medical devices
* Expert-level knowledge in Controls Engineering and strong mechanical engineering expertise
* Proven track record leading customer-facing projects from design to validation
* Experience managing teams in a matrix environment and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
