The role of Contract Administrator is vital in ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale pharmaceutical projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing assistance in tender preparation and evaluation.
* Handling queries during tender period and resolving any arising issues.
* Commercial evaluation of all tender submissions to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
* Negotiation with tenderers to secure the best deals.
* Valuing progress on site for interim certificates to prevent delays.
* Ascertainment of amounts due to contractors for price variation and other contract-related matters.
* Valuing proposed instructions to ensure seamless project execution.
* Drafting responses to contractors' correspondence to maintain open communication.
* Determination of amounts of claims to ensure fairness and transparency.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Quantity Surveying Degree or similar required for this role.
* Extensive multi-sectoral experience in handling complex contracts.
* Life-science, mission critical and industrial experience highly valued.
* Ability to work on complex issues and report in a clear and concise manner.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience carrying out pre and post-contract duties.
