I am working with a household name retail brand, currently recruiting for a Retail Trainee Manager for one of Ireland's top-performing Supermarket Groups based in Munster. This is a vibrant and busy retail group, that operates with extremely high standards and has large teams that will be under your supervision. As a Senior Trainee Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop and refine your retail skills through on-the-job training, by mentoring from highly experienced retail professionals that have gone to college and through years of experience will provide their knowledge in how to properly merchandise, maintain standards across a large retail premises, manage compliance, building your financial acumen, people management and HR skills. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, bright individual looking for a new challenge to work with a forward-thinking retail supermarket business, that has won many awards and has a great track record of promoting management to Senior Management.
Our client will offer a salary €32,000 - €35,000 DOE plus benefits.

* An ambitious Supervisor or Duty Manager who has worked in retail, like Grocery supermarkets or convenience stores, has knowledge of HACCP customer service and wants to enhance their retail experience in a bigger store.
* Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public.
* Good organizational skills,
* Be able to work within a team and on your own initiative
* Whilst our client offers a flexible and fair rota for all managers, they do require flexibility to work mornings and evenings, weekends
*Responsibilities for this Grocery Senior Trainee Manager Job:*
* Shop minding, ensuring the store runs smoothly, and maintaining the standards whilst managing the store on your own in the morning or closing shifts
* Driving sales, controlling the stock level, managing promotional change over, and ensuring the profit margins are at the agreed target
* People management, developing and coaching teams, learning more about performance management, like conflict resolution and motivating colleagues, rota planning, etc.
* KPI and target management, you will enhance your commercial acumen of how the shop makes money, controls costs effectively, and drives productivity
* Customer service, enhancing customer experience through your training, resolving complaints, and training teams under you to obtain further knowledge in the industry
