The Opportunity
We are an established multidisciplinary consultancy seeking an ambitious Junior Structural Engineer with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience to join our growing team in Cork.
This role is designed for a technically proficient professional who is not yet chartered but is eager to bridge the gap between design and project management.
You will join a vibrant, 30 person team with a diverse and high-value portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Structural Analysis & Design:
Perform detailed analysis and design of structural elements in reinforced concrete, steel, timber, and masonry using Eurocodes.
Software Proficiency:
Utilize industry-standard software such as Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, Robot, or TEDDS for modeling and calculations.
Project Coordination:
Work closely with Revit/BIM technicians, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design packages.
Site Engagement:
Conduct site visits, structural investigations, and inspections to ensure construction aligns with specifications.
Documentation:
Prepare clear technical reports, mark-ups, and specifications for various project stages.
Requirements
Education:
Level 8 Honours Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in a structural design consultancy.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of Irish/UK standards and building regulations.
Professional Ambition:
A clear desire to achieve Chartered status with Engineers Ireland or IStructE.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills to handle concurrent tasks under strict deadlines.
