As a Clinical Nurse Facilitator in our Critical Care setting, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support to staff members.
You will be responsible for delivering education, training, and ongoing support to promote professional development and encourage lifelong learning.
A collaborative approach to service development, embracing continuous quality improvement, and driving the implementation of changes aligned with organisational goals is essential.
Direct nursing care to patients in a proactive manner, working within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic patient care, and implementing evidence-based nursing practice using a care planning/pathway approach are critical tasks.
Liaising with medical staff on relevant matters concerning patient care, ensuring safe practice, and maintaining controlled drug records in accordance with legal and professional standards are also key duties.
The successful candidate will be registered with NMBI, have recent post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting, hold a recognised post-registration nursing course in the specialty, and possess teaching qualifications or ACLS/BLS courses.
