About the Role In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of paid media campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with Dunnes Stores' overall marketing strategy.
You will manage budgets, deliver measurable performance, and translate campaign insights into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders.
This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, analytical expertise, team management and hands-on execution.
You will report to the Head of Performance and work closely with brand marketing, designers, SEO, content and external partners to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities Lead Paid Media Strategy: Develop and implement paid media strategies across search, social, and programmatic channels.
Campaign Management: Oversee day-to-day execution, optimisation, and performance tracking of campaigns to achieve KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and conversion rates.
Budget Ownership: Manage and forecast paid media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and maximum return.
Reporting & Insights: Deliver clear, actionable performance reports and insights to senior stakeholders, connecting campaign activity to business outcomes.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure integrated marketing campaigns.
Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, AI developments, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to keep Dunnes Stores at the forefront of paid media.
About You 6+ years' experience in paid media management, ideally within retail or e-commerce but not essential.
Expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads, and knowledge of programmatic/display ads.
Experience managing external agency relationships and channel representative.
Managing a team of digital marketing professionals with experience training and developing junior team members.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Power Bi, and Excel.
Proven ability to manage large budgets and deliver measurable target goals.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially minded, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable: Experience with marketing platforms such as Google Search Console, Google Merchant Center and Google Tag Manager.
Knowledge of audience segmentation and dynamic creative optimisation.
