To oversee and manage all on-site activities for apartments, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and meets high quality standards.
This role combines strategic site management with hands-on supervision of crews and subcontractors
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
Plan, organise, and manage daily site operations
Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and senior management
Supervise site staff and subcontractors
Allocate tasks and monitor workforce productivity
Health & Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety regulations and conduct toolbox talks
Maintain risk assessments and ensure compliance with apartment-specific
standards (e.g. fire safety and working at height)
Quality & Progress Monitoring:
Inspect work for apartment quality and adherence to specifications
Maintain daily logs and progress reports for phased completions
Resource Management:
Oversee material orders, deliveries, and equipment usage
Control costs and minimise waste
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as Site Manager / General Foreman on apartment or multi-unit residential projects
Knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and safety standards for residential developments
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to interpret apartment-specific technical drawings and plans
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in project management tools and reporting
