3rd level qualification or trade background with relevant experienceExcellent organisation & time management skillsProven track record of working to strict timescales, with strong attention to detailExcellent client facing skillsThorough knowledge of building practicesValid Safepass and Manual Handling certification desirable
Job Description and requirements
Oversee operations on a day to day basis while monitoring and tracking progressInspect works in progress and completed work, to make sure it complies with project specificationsEnsure work complies with building regulations as well as other legal requirementsEnsure Quality standards are maintained at all times.Co-ordinate and manage subcontractors and other labour workersKeep in close contact with members of the site team at all timesLiaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and plannersEnsure work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.Handle onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive mannerEnsure all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are procured in a time efficient mannerRequisition of materialsCreate progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to managementAttending daily briefings, Record Daily site activities (daily log)Monitor / raise and track variations on site in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager
As a Site Manager you will have 5+ years solid site experiencewithin the construction and building industry, preferably for a Main Contractor. The successful candidate will have experience of working on high quality medium to large scale projects in various sectors Industrial, Health, Pharma, Commercial & Education.
