About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to fill our bookkeeping position in Dublin City Centre.
* Responsibilities will include managing daily bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing and submitting VAT returns and processing payroll for multiple clients.
* Additionally, they will assist in the preparation of management accounts, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, with specific expertise in VAT and payroll is required.
* The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.
