Key objectives will be to support a team of buyers in the execution of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget with the target of maximizing profitability and achieving customer satisfactionWhat are the key responsibilities?Support and provide leadership to a team of buyers, to develop core competencies to ensure they are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and teamwork to support the delivery of exceptional service to our customers.Collaborating with Suppliers and Operations teams to identify and implement process, costs, and OTIF improvements.Build and maintain standardized procurement processes employing a continuous improvement approach.Source, Negotiate and Review Supply Agreements with suppliers globally for a range of products to ensure cost effective and sustainable sourcing to achieve best price and value for Aerogen.Evaluate and mitigate risks in the Supply Chain, including Social and Environmental risks, by developing and monitoring supplier market intelligence and component supply continuity plans.Manage Supplier Relationships and evaluate Supplier Performance, including sustainability practices and conduct regular Business Performance reviews.Drive Supplier Development programs and continuous improvement initiatives to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.Build and maintain a yearly Savings Plan and support buyers in strategic negotiations. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality, service, or sustainability standards.Conduct regular cost analyses and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining a focus on sustainability.Participate in and facilitate New Product Introduction phase in/ out of products to minimize obsolescence and ensure time to market.Develop enhance and expand Procurement Tool Kits using Power BI and other software.Enable Buyers to set and monitor inventory level targets in line with company strategy.Complete Special projects and assignments as requested.Coordinate sourcing and procurement activities to meet launch timelinesWhat education and experience are required?A minimum of a level 8 degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field), master's degree is a plus.5 + years of experience in Supply Chain Management/ ProcurementRegulated environment experience is desirable (Medical Devices, Pharma, Automotive)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsWhat key skills will make you great at the role?Must have strong procurement experience with a continuous improvement mindset.Team Development Experience, with the ability to effectively develop Procurement team skillset.Strong Negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels.High proficiency in excel/ data analytics with strong numeric skills with the ability to evaluate, analyse and present data.Strong Project Management Experience and cross-functional collaborationData driven decision making and risk management.Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.Effective Communication and strong interpersonal SkillsProficiency in project management and reporting toolsWhat is it like to work at Aerogen?Our purpose is to transform patient lives and our ethos is to #discoverbetter.
