About the Role: The successful candidate will work predominantly with the commercial insurance team to deliver all marketing plans and bid management requirements for the division.
The Commercial Marketing Executive will also support the business across a range of activities including campaign support, digital marketing, content creation, event management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the key marketing professional supporting the commercial insurance team with new business pitches, including bid management and sales presentation creation, as well as the planning, creation, and distribution of all commercial sales and marketing materials.
Own content creation for all B2B publications and commercial marketing materials as required, including bid documents and corporate presentations across Word, PowerPoint, and video, tailored for each tender.
Manage all communication requests for the commercial team as required.
Work closely with the marketing team, particularly the Campaigns Manager, to deliver content for commercial campaigns and events across direct mail, print, advertising, web, digital, and social channels.
Support online activity including website content, blogs, video blogs, and email marketing in collaboration with marketing managers.
Review and maintain company social media channels to ensure they are current, relevant, and reflective of the commercial division and specialist profiles.
Plan, create, and manage trade events.
Identify promotional opportunities across relevant industry platforms, contribute ideas, and monitor competitor activity.
Evaluate marketing effectiveness by tracking key performance metrics, analysing campaign performance, and managing reporting requirements with a strong analytical mindset.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to support the commercial team in delivering on business objectives.
Collaborate with wider teams, including bid management and marketing colleagues, where required.
Manage and deliver ad hoc marketing projects and tasks.
Work with the in-house Graphic Design team to create and update marketing materials and collateral.
Contribute to wider marketing team initiatives, projects, and events.
Ensure all marketing activity aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and internal processes.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, marketing colleagues, creative agencies, and third-party providers as required.
Report to the Head of Marketing on planning, implementation, and performance of all marketing activity related to the commercial division.
Ensure all activities comply with GDPR and relevant compliance standards.
About You: Relevant third-level degree in Business or Marketing and/or a professional marketing qualification.
3-5 years' experience in a busy B2B marketing environment.
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, with experience in creative design tools considered beneficial.
Experience with marketing analytics tools and platforms is an advantage.
Strong B2B marketing experience with commercial awareness and business acumen.
Creative, innovative, and collaborative, with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, or similar is beneficial.
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
