A busy warehouse operation in Cork is seeking reliable and skilled Forklift Drivers to join their team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to manage warehouse tasks efficiently. Must have legal right to live and work in Ireland
Key Responsibilities
* Operate forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach, or PPT) to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
* Assist with stock management, including picking, packing, and organising inventory.
* Safely transport materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and vehicles.
* Conduct daily equipment checks to ensure forklifts are in good working order.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational deadlines.
* Support other warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements
* Valid forklift license (e.g., counterbalance, reach, or PPT) is essential.
* Proven experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse or logistics setting.
* Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
* Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
