IT Staff Product Security Engineer

This role sits at the center of product innovation and cybersecurity. You'll lead product security strategy across a growing portfolio, shaping how security is designed, implemented, and sustained—from early concept through post-market support. The mission is simple but critical: reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and ensure products meet the highest security and regulatory standards in an ever-changing threat landscape.
What you'll do
• Lead and mentor a high-performing Product Security team supporting multiple products
• Drive secure-by-design practices, threat modeling, and proactive vulnerability management
• Partner closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, IT, and external partners to embed security across the full product lifecycle
• Translate cybersecurity strategy into practical execution aligned with enterprise goals and customer expectations
• Guide engineering teams on security requirements, architecture decisions, and implementation trade-offs
• Conduct security risk assessments, hazard analyses, design reviews, and code reviews
• Oversee incident response, vulnerability remediation, and product security documentation
• Track, measure, and report product security posture using clear metrics and benchmarks
• Ensure compliance with development policies, quality systems, and medical device security standards
What you bring
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years in product or application security, secure software development, or security architecture
• Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of encryption, PKI, embedded device security, and network security threats
• Hands-on experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools
• Comfort working in regulated, quality-driven environments
• Clear communicator with the ability to turn complex security concepts into actionable guidance
