IT Support Technician
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in Co. Galway on a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up user devices with email accounts and various software packages
* Install and configure appropriate software on a per-user basis
* Set up user workstations, including monitor mounts & peripherals
* Maintain the security and privacy of networks and computer systems
* Provide support documents to users on IT processes
* Organize and schedule upgrades on user devices without disrupting workflow
* Perform troubleshooting to resolve network or computer-related issues
* Provide remote support to global team members
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a relevant field
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support function
* Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Networking
* Valid driver's license
* Excellent problem-solving & communication skills
* In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
* Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
* Certification as an IT Technician is an advantage
