Amazon Devices Asia team is looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented Software Development Engineer who can build innovative & mission critical system software applications & tools.
You will have an enormous opportunity to make a large impact on the design, architecture, and development of consumer products.
You will be responsible for delivery and support of large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and tools.
This position requires the candidate to design and develop highly scalable user interfaces, data structures, algorithms.
Candidate needs to collaborate with teams of smart engineers in the design, implementation, and deployment of features and system.
Key Job Responsibilities
Supplier Management System Development: Build and enhance software systems that support consumer electronic component supplier management, quality tracking, and performance analytics
Reliability Testing Tool Development: Develop tools and automation solutions for consumer electronic devices reliability testing, data collection, and analysis
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Automation, Control Engineering, or related field at time of application.
Knowledge of the syntax of languages such as Java, C/C++ or Python.
Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous technical internship(s), if applicable.
Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.
Knowledge of statistics or hardware design principles
Coursework or interest in quality engineering, reliability engineering, or supply chain management
Familiarity with consumer electronics or manufacturing processes is a plus
