Position SummaryThe Senior Finance Analyst will provide financial analysis and business partnership to the global IT function. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end financial management of IT projects and the related operating expense and capital investment. The position will partner closely with IT leadership, Project Managers, Procurement, and Corporate Finance to ensure robust financial control and transparent reporting across all IT projects. It plays a key role in strengthening governance, managing project capitalization (Capex vs. Opex), and ensuring forecasting accuracy for IT projects.Principal ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed analysis of actual financial results versus plan, forecast, and prior year performance.Ensure accurate accounting treatment of IT‑related costs in line with US GAAP/IFRS, including software capitalization, cloud/SaaS arrangements, and asset amortization.Coordinate periodic financial reviews of strategic projects with the execution team to ensure proper forecasting and monitoring.Coordinate monthly and quarterly financial close, including preparation of journal entries and financial reports.Assist with preparation of annual plans, forecasts, and strategic plans, including variance analysis.Develop and maintain a robust financial risk assessment process, actively maintaining a financial risk register for all IT opportunities and costs.Analyze monthly timesheet activity for IT program resources.Partner with IT project teams to provide financial analysis and support.Make recommendations regarding process improvements and reporting enhancements.Develop and maintain standard work templates and procedures.Perform additional responsibilities or projects assigned by the Finance Manager and senior management.Education & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.Qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA is an advantage.Strong analytical background in budgeting and forecasting.Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant standards.Ability to develop ad hoc reports as required.Strong systems experience: SAP (mandatory); Hyperion/EPM tools is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with ability to translate financial data for non‑finance stakeholders.Behaviours & ValuesStrong business partnering mindset with confidence to challenge and influence.Detail‑oriented with a focus on control, governance, and audit readiness.Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑changing corporate environment.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.Equal Opportunity StatementTeleflex is an equal opportunity employer.
