Electrical Shift Technician
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of critical electrical and utility systems within a large industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operation, maintenance, and fault-finding across HV & LV electrical distribution systems
Planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance using CMMS (Pemac)
Troubleshooting plant failures and supporting root cause analysis
Coordinating shift activities and managing effective handovers
Acting as the main point of contact for contractors and service providers
Supporting engineers with isolations, commissioning, and capital improvement projects
Ensuring full compliance with site safety, quality, and operational procedures
Responding to plant upsets and emergency situations as required
Turbines, diesel generators, boilers, compressors, pumps, fuel oil systems, and industrial gas installations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an industrial or utilities-based environment
Strong fault-finding and analytical skills
Experience working with CMMS systems
Safety-focused with the ability to take ownership and make operational decisions
Lean / Six Sigma experience advantageous
