The Sales Manager is accountable for achieving revenue and gross profit targets across a designated region, market segment, or product line. This includes driving new business through strategic prospecting and relationship‑building, expanding existing accounts to maximize long‑term value, collaborating cross‑functionally with internal teams to align on goals and execution, recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales staff to build a high‑performing team, setting and monitoring sales targets, analysing performance data, and adjusting strategies accordingly, coordinating departmental operations to ensure seamless delivery of products or services, implementing cohesive sales strategies that support broader business objectives.
The role requires a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and hands‑on sales execution to ensure consistent growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Generate new opportunities and revenue within assigned territories to drive sales growth across all product lines.
* Client Relationship Management
* Aircraft Parts Knowledge‑ Airframe and Engine Parts
* Aircraft Knowledge: Stay current on the latest aircraft models, features, and industry trends to effectively advise clients on suitable options.
* Keep up with market trends and competitor actions.
* Follows company pricing guidelines and collaborates with team members to ensure accurate material pricing when quoting customers.
* Identify sales opportunities by monitoring changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand.
* Track individual metrics and objectives (KPIs)
* Analyze data and provide thoughtful and actionable insight.
* Streamline processes or inefficiencies by working cross‑functionally with team members and other departments.
* Demonstrate professionalism and leadership across all areas of the business.
* Work closely with colleagues or other internal teams on cross‑territory opportunities.
* Travel to customer locations as needed.
