Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Blackrock)1.0 WTE (37.5 hours)Indefinite duration contractH.S.E. fundedBased in BlackrockThe CNM 2 will co-ordinate and lead in the implementation and provision of quality specialist palliative care and will:Manage resources, lead the team and be accountable for nursing activity and outcomes of care.Function as a role model, promote best practice in the delivery of care, and provide clinical expertise and support within the Inter Disciplinary Team.Support, assist and facilitate colleagues in achieving positive outcomes as developed for the Ward/Unit/Department.Encourage a culture of openness and participation through effective communication.Essential RequirementsQualifications:· Registered on the Live Register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses as maintained by An Bord Altranais· Hold or be currently undertaking a post graduate qualification in palliative careExperience:Five years post registration experience2 years' experience in Specialist Palliative CareManagement experienceHave the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role including proficient IT skillsEvidence of consistent updating of clinical skills and knowledgeExperience of formal and informal teachingDesirable RequirementsQualifications:Management QualificationExperience:Management experience in the Specialist area.Experience of Regulation inspectionsExperience with participation within an MDTDemonstrable Coaching & Development skills within clinical practiceInformal enquiries for this recruitment panel advertisement are most welcome.
