You will be part of a large Multi-Disciplinary Engineering team that delivers high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable building projects across a range of sectors. As a BIM Technician, you will work alongside engineers to produce highly detailed as-built drawings and Revit models.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting and Design:Create detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.Assist in the development of structural designs based on engineer or architect specifications.Generate accurate and clear technical drawings for construction projects.Structural Analysis:Perform basic structural analysis using software tools to assess the stability and integrity of designs.Collaborate with engineers to analyze and interpret data related to structural elements.Documentation:Maintain comprehensive records of design changes, calculations, and project documentation.Ensure that all drawings and documents comply with relevant codes and standards.Communication:Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements.Communicate effectively to convey technical information and updates to the project team.Quality Control:Review drawings and designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Assist in identifying and resolving potential issues during the design and construction phases.Field Support:Conduct site visits to gather information, assess construction progress, and address any design-related issues.Collaborate with construction teams to ensure that structures are built according to approved plans.What We're Looking ForRevit Technologist holding BIM qualification.3+ years' experience working within a Structural Engineering environment.Possess strong technical and construction knowledge.Excellent working knowledge of Revit with experience in creating structural models.Full understanding and experience working with current Irish building and planning legislation is essential.Experience using Navisworks and leading clash detection from a structural perspective.Technical Skills: Structural Technician BIM Revit, AutoCAD, CADS RC, Civil 3D, General Arrangement, Navisworks.
