These are the core responsibilities associated with your role for which you will be held accountable:
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be responsible for managing and executing HR processes and systems to include recruitment, on boarding, Industrial Relations, Talent management and retention, Learning and development, reward and recognition for the relevant client groups within the Dairy Ireland business. There is a sizeable organisational change and Industrial Relations dimension to this role. The selected candidate will provide pro‑active leadership and HR support to the leadership teams on the site(s).
Delivery of all aspects of the Strategic and Operational Human Resource service to the areas under your span of control;
Proactively working with the relevant Site leadership teams to support the delivery of the business, HR and site strategies with proactive HR services across the full employee lifecycle;
Act as trusted first point of contact for key stakeholders in the business;
Partner with business managers to effectively and efficiently source and retain high quality talent through recruitment best practice;
Drive the implementation of a modern integrated Talent management process inclusive of Succession planning management, PDP’s and exciting career development processes.
Plan and assist the delivery of organisational change initiatives as required by the Dairy Ireland Business;
Promote our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion agenda across HR processes (Recruitment, Talent management, culture etc) that creates an inclusive culture where employees feel valued for their contribution.
Engage and manage the IR agenda at the applicable site(s);
Together with key stakeholders, identify training needs, develop & implement appropriate learning interventions to enhance the capability of the teams;
Provide advice and coaching support to Managers in order to resolve employee relations and performance management issues;
Promote best practice people processes and systems as part of the HR approach to Continuous Improvement and Performance Management and Employee Wellbeing.
Design and implementation of initiatives to develop and promote employee engagement and improved employee communications.
Updating HR policies and procedures in line with best practice, relevant employment legislation and our Policy Framework Group.
Ability to plan and deliver key organisational change programmes as required by the business and to participate in wider business projects.
Play a leading role in managing the HR function approach to Risk Management & Business Continuity Planning putting contingency measures in place inclusive of ensuring timely successful close out of Audit and Business continuity planning recommendations in line with best practice.
Ensure that the business optimises return on investment through effective utilisation of the People Access XD HR system;
Project Management of People related projects as required by Business.

Location: North Cork but will be required to travel to other sites as required
Key Interactions: Key member of th Ireland HR team, Management Teams, Internal Customers
Qualification Required: Degree / Masters level qualification in Human Resources.
Work Experience Required: 5+ years’ experience at HR Business
