Job Title: Senior Estimator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to fill this key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking precise steel take offs, preparation of detailed cost estimates, and providing accurate prices on enquiries made.
* Undertaking steel take offs: measuring and quantifying material from Engineers and Architects drawings/specifications and bill of quantities.
* Preparation of cost estimates within tight deadlines, mainly for structural steel buildings, including feature staircases, glass balustrades and architectural railings.
* Providing accurate prices on enquiries made.
* Responding to customer inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of steelwork and engineering principles, strong mathematical and analytical skills, as well as an eye for detail. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers.
