Core Optimisation is seeking a Senior PPC Specialist with 5+ years of experience to drive the strategic and technical evolution of our paid media department. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the Head of Paid Media.You will play a pivotal role in helping to manage a diverse portfolio of 60+ clients across multiple industries, ranging from lead generation to high-scale e-commerce. This position is designed for a performance-focused expert who excels at mentoring talent, pioneering search innovations, and delivering exceptional ROI at scale.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Leadership & Strategic Consulting· Primary Strategic Partner: Act as the lead consultant for our highest-value accounts, moving beyond execution to become a trusted advisor on their overall business growth.· Retention & Growth: Own the long-term roadmap for clients, identifying upsell opportunities and cross-channel expansions that align with their evolving business goals.· High-Level Presentation: Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, delivering authoritative insights to C-suite stakeholders and marketing directors.· Portfolio Oversight: Maintain a bird's-eye view of our 60+ clients to ensure strategic consistency and identify industry-wide performance trends.Strategic Innovation· Architect Performance: Design high-performance PPC strategies across Google, Microsoft, and related platforms that outperform industry benchmarks.· Trend Pioneering: Stay ahead of platform shifts (AI bidding, PMax, Broad Match) to ensure our agency's offering remains gold standard· Omnichannel Synergy: Collaborate with SEO, Content, and Social teams to provide clients with a unified, 360-degree digital strategy.Team Mentorship & Departmental Evolution· Technical Coaching: Reporting to the Head of Paid Media, you will upskill junior and mid-level specialists, setting the standard for analytical rigor.· Standardisation: Build and refine internal frameworks for keyword strategy, audience segmentation, and competitor intelligence to be used across the agency.· Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous account audits to ensure "best-in-class" work is delivered to every client in the portfolio.Data Architecture & Performance Management· Advanced Analytics: Oversee data strategy using GA4 and Looker Studio to deliver transparent, ROI-focused reporting.· Budget Governance: Direct bid management and forecasting for high-scale budgets, ensuring maximum efficiency and zero waste.Requirements· Experience: 5+ years of success managing high-performance PPC portfolios, ideally in an agency environment.· Client Mastery: Proven ability to lead client meetings, manage expectations, and grow accounts through strategic influence.· Leadership: Experience mentoring staff and working closely with department heads to shape agency culture.· Platform Expertise: Expert-level Google and Microsoft Ads knowledge; Meta Ads proficiency is a significant advantage.· Technical Stack: Advanced GA4, Shopify, Looker Studio, and SEMrush skills.
