We are recruiting for an Accommodation Supervisor (Maternity Cover) to assist the team in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, in line with the Forbes Five Star standards and The Red Carnation Hotels standards, in all rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities of the Accommodation Supervisor (Maternity Cover) will include:
• Supporting the Accommodation Manager in ensuring that each guest is provided with the highest levels of Housekeeping Service in accordance withthe Forbes Five Star standards and The Red Carnation Hotels standards
• To be familiar with each day’s business regarding room occupancy, special requirements and VIP needs, ensuring that all Accommodation Staff are aware of the daily business and requirements
• To ensure all staff is on duty as per their roster, monitoring work given to the team throughout the day to ensure tasks meet the defined standards. In the absence of the Executive Accommodation Manager, ensuring that there are adequate staffing levels to meet the daily business
• To actively train all staff to the standards laid down in the SOP Manual and monitor their work performance, taking corrective action where necessary
• To support the team in a hands-on capacity as required in ensuring rooms are cleaned to the defined standard
• To provide the guest, at all times, with the highest levels of guest care and personal attention, where possible anticipating the guests needs and initiating actions to exceed expectations where possible
The ideal candidate for the Accommodation Supervisor(Maternity Cover)position should have:
•Prior experience in a relevant position at a 4 or 5-star hotel
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
•Proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team
• Strong attention to detail
•Capacity to handle busy situations and manage workload efficiently
•Enthusiastic and flexible, with a willingness to work 5 days within a 7-day period, including some evenings and weekends
• Legally eligible to work in Ireland
