Maintenance Supervisor Role
The Maintenance Supervisor position requires a hands-on technical background preferably with experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of injection moulding machinery is a distinct advantage.
This role oversees the smooth operation of production machinery including troubleshooting process optimisation and carrying out mould changeovers. Ensuring high-quality output and meeting production targets are central to this position. The Maintenance Supervisor is also accountable for maintaining a safe working environment in line with industry policies and legislation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure production meets agreed quality standards and specifications.
2. Maximise production output while ensuring product quality is never compromised.
3. Carry out mould changeovers machine maintenance breakdown repairs fault-finding and process optimisation.
4. Supervise train and motivate operatives to achieve high performance standards Maintain training records and ensure refresher training is provided where required.
5. Conduct performance appraisals and manage staff fairly referring disciplinary matters to management where necessary.
6. Ensure full compliance with industry policies cleanroom procedures and hygiene regulations.
7. Promote and maintain a safe work environment delivering safety training and ensuring compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
8. Plan and organise production to meet targets in a cost-effective and efficient manner ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Candidate Profile
* Technical background preferably with experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
* Injection moulding experience is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership organisational and communication skills.
