Job Summary:

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for a range of electronic products. The successful candidate will have an interest in learning about all technical aspects of products.
The role involves supporting Lean NPI (new product introduction) working closely with Design & Manufacturing Engineering and ensuring that products are designed, manufactured and delivered to DFT, DFC guidelines.
You will be responsible for configuration and change management, drawing control through EO (Engineering Order) process from initial design to product obsolescence.
Supporting the design team as required, you will develop Hardware/Software project requirements and support DVT (Design Verification Testing), product costing, reliability and design reviews.
Additionally, you will assume technical product ownership after design release including customer driven product changes and become the focal point of product issues and their resolution.
As primary Manufacturing technical contact, you will work closely with other company groups on the product range.
Ongoing product cost reduction through Lean tools, eliminating waste, identifying product improvements and supporting process improvements are also key responsibilities.
Leading EOL (End Of Life) customer requests, liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and doc control departments, is another important aspect of the role.
Identifying on-going improvement of product yields and product reliability through understanding product problems seen, defining and leading solutions.
After-market Programs require your technical expertise: Training, Obsolescence, Repair Centre support, Integrated Logistic Support and documentation.
Regulatory Compliance Support includes UL, TÜV, ETL and SIL.

Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
* Good understanding of electronic circuit functionality
* Experience in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Engineering, Software Development, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Test Engineering
