Monread Fare is currently recruiting for the role of Manager in our busy Insomnia Department.
The purpose of the Manager's role is to provide day-to-day front-line management to ensure colleague compliance with all standards necessary for the successful operation of the department. The Manager will need to be fully familiar with all aspects of the Barista's role, including: Dress Code, Hygiene/HACCP Standards, Customer Service Standards, Performance Standards, Health & Safety, and Roster Awareness. This is a proactive role that must ensure the consistent delivery of high quality and service.
An essential part of the role is excellence in communication with colleagues, supervisors, and other managers.

The Role:

* You will engage with customers through latte art, build relationships, ensure every drink meets quality standards, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. You will become a key part of the Insomnia family, working alongside fellow coffee enthusiasts.
Responsibilities:
* Manage shifts during peak days and weekends.
* Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service within Insomnia.
* Oversee staff scheduling with a focus on wage costs.
* Collaborate with the marketing department to promote Insomnia.
* Ensure profit margins are maintained and targets are met.
* Ensure staff adhere to customer service procedures and are trained in product knowledge and store procedures.
* Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, productivity, and presentation.
* Conduct staff appraisals and participate in recruitment processes.
* Liaise with management regarding site issues.
* Organize stock takes and coordinate with the accounts department.
* Perform additional duties as required by management.
Requirements:
* Relevant managerial experience in a customer-focused environment, or as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor seeking the next step.
* Enthusiastic, outgoing, with full responsibility for store operations, staff development, brand delivery, and financial performance.
* Previous coffee experience is advantageous but not essential; the right attitude aligned with the Insomnia Philosophy is key.
