We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is based in our new office and plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day financial administration of a multi-business group, with a strong focus on accurate bookkeeping, cost control, VAT support, and maintaining clean, well-organised financial records. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing office team to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and consistently maintained across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Bookkeeping
* Post purchase invoices accurately in Xero
* Ensure correct supplier, category, company and VAT treatment
* Maintain a clean, up-to-date general ledger
* Identify and resolve duplicate invoices, overcharging, VAT and billing issues
Monthly Cost Reporting
Prepare monthly reports showing:
* Spend by category and by site / company
* Month-on-month comparisons
Invoice, Process & Supplier Support
* Manage a standardised invoice workflow
* Support improvements to finance and admin processes
* Assist with supplier and contract reviews
* Maintain a simple contract register and support benchmarking ahead of renewals
Sales Invoicing
* Raise sales invoices
* Ensure correct VAT, entity billing and cost allocation
* Track invoices raised versus paid
Experience & Skills
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role is desirable
* Working knowledge of Xero is essential
* Good understanding of Irish VAT
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident using digital systems and improving processes
