About the RoleWe are seeking a results‑driven Senior Manufacturing Manager to lead manufacturing performance in a highly regulated medical device/pharmaceutical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead manufacturing operations to deliver on safety, quality, compliance, cost, and delivery.Ensure full adherence to GxP, regulatory, and quality system requirements.Drive a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.Lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams with clear accountability.Manage multiple operational priorities while maintaining strategic focus.Champion CAPA, root‑cause analysis, and audit readiness.Optimise production planning, process flow, and operational efficiency.Deliver structured, data‑driven problem solving and timely decision‑making.Engage and influence stakeholders across functions and leadership levels.QualificationsMinimum 6 years’ experience in senior operations leadership within medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.3rd Level Degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline.Strong track record in quality, compliance, and regulatory environments (GxP).Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance in complex operations.Expertise in Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement, CAPA & root‑cause analysis, production planning and regulated processes.Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.Strong commercial awareness with a focus on delivering results.What We OfferAt Abbott, we offer an attractive compensation package and a wide range of benefits including family health insurance, an excellent pension scheme, life assurance and career development opportunities.Legal StatementsAbbott is an equal opportunities employer.
