Job Title: Hydro Power Technician

This position requires strong technical skills, including electrical maintenance, instrumentation, and mechanical aptitude. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working safely, efficiently, and effectively in a fast-paced environment. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supervising contractors, and implementing procedures to ensure compliance with corporate, statutory safety and environmental obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fault-finding and maintaining assets in accordance with your technical discipline
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Supervising and directing contractors
* Writing and implementing procedures and working instructions
Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience in Electrical/Control & Instrumentation Maintenance
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of HV/MV/LV electrical systems and E&I systems
Good communication and IT skills, and ability to organise and prioritise work
An electrician with a time-served Apprenticeship - FETAC level 6, Junior and Senior Trades or equivalent is preferred
