We are Kids Inc.
We provide Early Years and Afterschool Care services.
With an experience of more than 25 years in the childcare industry, we're one of the most established organizations operating geographically all over Ireland.
Our goal is to extend children's daily learning by involving them in a wide range of sports and creative programs, with a strict 'No Screen Time' policy.
With 5 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin, Kids Inc is also hosting over 80 'Onsite" Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs throughout the country. Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for an experienced Director of Operation to strategically lead the business and support our operations team in our journey to scale up. The Director of Operations will oversee all aspects of the organisations' operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with the company's goals and objectives .
You will have a robust background in childcare, be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and have the ability to optimise processes and resources to drive business growth and success.This role typically operates in an office environment but may require occasional travel to other locations as needed ans well as out of office hours.

Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage people, financial, and material resources effectively to support operational objectives and maximise productivity.
Collaborate with other departments, including HR, Finance, Business Development and IT, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals.
Analyse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the organisation's assets and reputation.
Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effective solutions that meet the organisation's needs.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices adoption across the organisation.
Communicate operational strategies, objectives, and performance metrics effectively to senior management, stakeholders, and the operations team.
Your profile: Qualification in childcare or relevant field essential.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Solid understanding of operational principles, including process optimisation, resource management, and risk mitigation.
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
A full clean drivers license and own transport is essential.
Proven experience (5 years) in a senior management role overseeing operations in the childcare industry.
In depth knowledge and experience in linking with Tusla and other external agencies.
Be familiar with Core funding Action Plans.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
