Contract Manager – Offshore Interconnector Project (EU Travel Required)
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support the delivery of a major offshore interconnector project. This role will be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of complex engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include administering and managing contracts under FIDIC and other bespoke project agreements, assessing contractual risks and opportunities, leading change management processes, evaluating claims and variations, supporting dispute avoidance and resolution, and ensuring contractual compliance across multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with project, commercial, legal, and technical teams to protect project interests and facilitate successful project delivery.
Key Requirements
Significant experience managing contracts on large-scale infrastructure, energy, offshore, or transmission projects.
Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contract forms, contract administration, claims management, and change control.
Ability to apply sound commercial judgment and logical problem-solving to complex contractual issues.
Experience working with international contractors, suppliers, and joint venture partners.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Law, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
This position will involve regular travel within the European Union to support project offices, contractor locations, and key stakeholder meetings.
