Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel is a Leading Hotel of the World, offering the experiential luxury Anantara Hotels & Resorts is renowned for. The candidate must have the ability to deliver a high level of service in a confident and professional manner.
Specific Duties
* Carry out all duties in line with departmental Standards Manual (Leading Quality Assurance).
* Provide a channel for communication within the hotel to effectively deal with all telephone and email enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
* Be fully aware of any menu updates, hotel promotions, corporate promotions or special offers.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure that all guest requests are attended to efficiently.
* Assist guests with checking into and out of the hotel in a timely manner.
* Answer guest queries in person, over the phone or via email.
* Ensure that all guests' requests are completed.

General Responsibilities
* To ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests.
* Understand the hotel's Vision & Mission statement as communicated to the team.
* Ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained and cleaning checklists are adhered to.
* Be vigilant throughout the hotel to promote security.
* Have strong product knowledge of all areas of the hotel.
* Accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to hotel guests and maintain flexibility within teams.
* Comply with the hotel's cash handling procedure.
People
* Attend appraisal reviews when requested by the Head of Department.
* Understand and comply with the hotel's employee handbook.
* Attend departmental daily briefings and monthly departmental meetings.
* Adhere to the hotel's grooming procedures.
* Clock in and out of Timepoint at the start and finish of each shift and for breaks.
* Inform your manager if you did not receive your break entitlement.
