Job Description
The Pre-Sales Solution Consultant (PSC) will play a key role in the sales process, ensuring that new customers understand how the TestReach platform can transform their delivery of assessments and meet their business requirements.
Reporting to the Head of Growth, with a dotted line for day to day operational activity to a more experienced Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, the PSC will support daily sales activities, collaborating closely with the Head of Growth, Sales Consultants and other cross-functional teams. You will be a client-facing professional, often involved in workshops, demos, and customer calls making strong interpersonal skills and technical expertise essential.
This role will work closely with prospects to gather and interpret technical and business requirements. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and onboarding experts to ensure that clients' technical challenges are met with innovative and scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a SaaS, EdTech, or technology-driven environment and demonstrate a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and scalable solution design.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement and Workshops
* In collaboration with PSCs and Sales Consultants, conduct workshops, presentations, and demonstrations for new customers, showcasing how TestReach's technology can meet their business needs.
* Provide technical expertise during sales pitches and pre-sales engagements, ensuring clients understand the value and functionality of the platform.
2. Solution Design and Architecture
* Support and where appropriate, lead relevant technical discovery sessions with clients to understand their existing systems, workflows, edge cases and integration needs.
* Define integration strategies, providing clear documentation for both internal teams and clients.
* Ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with best practices and the TestReach platform.
3. Collaboration and Communication
* Act as a point of technical contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication regarding requirements, issues, and timelines.
* Collaborate with the Product Development team to provide feedback on customer needs and future feature development.
4. Technology Awareness and Innovation
* Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring TestReach sales remains competitive in the online assessment space.
* Propose improvements to existing functionality gathered from engagement with the market.
* Identify technical initiatives that can reduce our sales cycle and accelerate growth.
* Share technical knowledge and best practices across the team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a SaaS, EdTech, or technology driven environment
* Demonstrable client-facing experience and confidence presenting to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds
* Experience planning and delivering high quality customer demos
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, demonstratable solutions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
* Passion for technology.
Desirable Experience
* Prior experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or business analysis roles
* Familiarity with REST APIs, SSO, cloud technologies, or similar integration approaches.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in product development, onboarding, or implementation.
* Awareness of assessment and examination delivery platforms is a plus.
