The Handsome Burger Food Truck supervisor is an all rounder who ensures that each customer receives an unforgettable meal. From advising customers on the menu, taking orders, preparing dishes according to company recipes, and ensuring that all dishes are made to company specifications, using diverse methods of preparation.
**Please note that a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this position.**
Responsibilities and Duties
● Treat co-workers & customers with respect at all times.
● Create weekly roster for staff in line with a budget.
● Maintain a favourable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum team member morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
● Ordering stock and ingredients from suppliers.
● Co-ordinating stock collection from Dublin 2 restaurant and driving with this stock when required.
● Ensure opening, closing and wastage sheets are completed each day.
● Answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation.
● Greet new customers in a friendly and timely manner.
● Take the entire order, repeat the order to the guest for clarification.
● Up-sell additional products when possible and appropriate.
● Prepare a variety of food, with diverse methods of preparation, and adhere to specific product prep, handling procedures, and plate presentation.
● Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
● Ensure proper execution of recipe procedures while maintaining a high-quality and consistent product.
● Maintain cleanliness throughout the food truck unit.
● Keep prepared food continuously flowing out of the food truck unit.
● Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up station as necessary.
● Break down, and clean the food truck at the end of the shift.
● Ensure proper rotation of all products and stocks of products to par.
● Clean and sanitise throughout the shift.
● Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner by established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
● Checking that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.
● Preventing cross-contamination and following HACCP procedures.
● Ensuring opening and closing procedure checklists are followed.
● Reading order dockets and preparing food promptly.
● Preparing meals according to customers' preferences, if applicable.
● Tracking the components of each meal to ensure that it is prepared in line with the recipe book.
● Tracking inventory to ensure that you always have adequate supplies.
● Count and close the POS system when required in line with the company cash handling procedures.
Valid HACCP certificate is desired. Previous grill, food handling and customer service experience is necessary.
Applicants must be fully flexible in regards to shift start and finish times.
Pay €16.00 per hour. Sunday premium of €0.50 applies to any hours worked on a Sunday.
Parking allowance and fuel card provided for stock collection and pick-up.
