Homecare Supervisor Job Opportunity
The role of Homecare Supervisor is a pivotal position within our organization, requiring the incumbent to spearhead initial homecare assessments and care plans with service users. This critical role necessitates collaboration with senior staff members and attendance at weekly meetings with the clinical team to ensure service levels are consistently maintained at the highest standard.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure optimal service delivery.
* Conduct inductions for new staff as required and provide supervision to enhance their skills and performance.
* Monitor staff compliance and training requirements.
* Complete comprehensive client assessments and reassessments to predetermined standards.
* Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to individual client needs.
* Maintain accurate documentation on clients' care provision.
* Visit clients during service provision, reviewing updates and delivering services efficiently.
* Conduct spot checks, complete client and staff feedback forms, and monitor client satisfaction.
* Prepare for and participate in audits with relevant stakeholders.
* Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives through suggestions, adherence to procedures, and adherence to operating procedures.
* Work collaboratively within a regional team, traveling throughout CHO 5 (South Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary).
* Attend meetings with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders as required.
* Address client complaints or non-conformances promptly and professionally.
* Take ownership of individual quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and strive to meet or exceed targets.
Requirements include a Full QQI Level 5 award in Healthcare Support, QQI Level 6 or above in Supervisory Management (desired), previous experience in a similar role, and possession of a full, clean driver's license and access to personal transportation.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and manage their time effectively, strong written and oral communication skills, and high attention to detail and proficiency in basic IT systems.
