We have exciting opportunities for 1st Year Apprentice Pipefitters to join Welfab Engineering. Welfab Engineering is a growing business with offices in Cork. We supply services such as fabricating and installing pipework for Data Centres, Pharma and Medical Device plants and Renewable Energy Systems.
We offer standard rates as below
* 1st Year - €9.20
* 2nd Year - €13.82
* 3rd Year - €20.72
* 4th Year - €24.87

* Various Sites Across Cork
What you will be doing?
You will be learning and developing new and practical craft-related skills, knowledge and competence by:
* Interpreting pipefitting drawings and specifications; Planning and sketching piping systems.
* Pipefitting, pipe jointing and pipe bending; Inspecting and testing of piping systems and fault diagnosis.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on piping systems.
* Planning and organising the installation of piping systems.
You will gain hands on experience with the installation, commissioning and maintenance of cooling and heating systems, compressed air systems, high power systems, chemical storage and processing systems,oil, gasoline and natural gas storage and processing systems, air handling units, industrial and process gases and liquids, High Purity Bio Pharma Systems.
