Strategic Financial Leadership Role

As a strategic and hands-on finance leader, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive financial service across both charitable and commercial operations.
The successful candidate will lead financial planning, reporting, compliance, and control functions, ensuring the organisation meets all statutory and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts for the group
* Lead budget meetings and challenge income/expenditure to ensure effective resource allocation
* Monitor financial performance and advise senior management
* Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
* Oversee payroll for approximately 150 staff
* Manage cash flow, credit control, VAT submissions, and statutory reporting
* Develop financial models to support new initiatives and funding applications
* Supervise a small finance team and contribute to strategic leadership
* Present financial information to the Board and senior stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant with significant experience in a senior finance role
* Proven experience in producing financial and management accounts
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Experience in payroll and commercial reporting
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
