Based at a cutting-edge facility in Co. Kildare, this is a senior leadership role overseeing the full spectrum of Integrated Facilities Management services in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated environment. You'll take the operational lead for a new, high complexity manufacturing site, ensuring seamless delivery across hard and soft services while aligning closely with the client's production priorities and environmental commitments.

Responsibilities for Head of Operations (Hybrid)
1. Lead the delivery of hard and soft FM services across a high-volume brewing site, ensuring alignment with GMP protocols and production demands.
2. Manage all service streams including maintenance, cleaning, security, waste, catering, and grounds, driving safety and compliance to the highest standards.
3. Act as the key operational interface with the client, building strong relationships and delivering value through innovation and continuous improvement.
4. Maintain statutory and regulatory compliance across all building and safety systems, supported by accurate audit trails and risk management processes.
5. Oversee lifecycle and asset management planning to support long-term performance, availability, and cost-efficiency.
6. Own the site's financial performance, balancing operational excellence with cost control.
7. Lead, develop, and support a large, multi-disciplinary team, ensuring robust competency frameworks and a culture of accountability.
8. Identify and deliver improvements in energy, water, and waste performance in support of the client's sustainability goals.
Requirements for Head of Operations (Hybrid)
9. Degree-qualified in engineering, business, facilities, or a related discipline.
10. A proven background in managing FM operations within a manufacturing or GMP-compliant environment.
11. At least 5 years' senior leadership experience in an Integrated Facilities Management setting.
12. Health & Safety certified (IOSH or NEBOSH), with a strong track record of driving safety culture in high-risk environments.
13. Experience managing multi-functional teams across technical, soft, and support services.
14. Confident in supplier management, contract mobilisation, and statutory compliance.
15. Technically astute, with working knowledge of asset and lifecycle planning, safe systems of work, and project oversight.
16. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a problem-solving mindset and calm decision-making under pressure.
Desirable:
17. Professional qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services disciplines.
18. Experience delivering FM services in a new-build industrial environment.
19. Knowledge of PSDP compliance, Legionella control, and water quality management.
20. Membership of a relevant professional body and experience as an Authorised Person.
