* Ascendion is looking for a Category Sourcing Expert – IT who can develop, manage and leading the cross-functional teams, running strategic sourcing processes, contract negotiation, contract administration including utilizing sourcing systems, supervising supplier performance, analyzing financial data, business planning, administration, and analysis.
Required Skills and Expertise
* Project & Stakeholder Management in complex multi-project and multi-geography environment
* Category Sourcing Management, Supplier Management and/or Purchasing experience
* Ability to work independently, as directed, with limited supervision.
* Ability to lead meetings/conference calls.
* Strategic Sourcing experience .
* Negotiation, cost management and analytical skills
* Knowledge of the commercial legal language, terminologies related to contracting.
* Experience in IT/Technology categories
* Certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS/CSCP and/or Lean Six Sigma.
* Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & Microsoft Suite applications.
